This training explores how ketamine opens access to early relational wounds, implicit memory, and longing for connection. Learn how to support clients in accessing child parts, repairing internal models of care, and using the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for healing attachment trauma.
The Medicine of Connection: Attachment Healing Through KAP
At the core of many clients’ suffering is a sense of disconnection—from others, from their younger selves, and from love. This training focuses on how Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy can open the door to deep attachment repair. We explore how ketamine softens defenses, enables clients to revisit early developmental states, and facilitates healing of internal working models.
Topics include:-
Working with child parts, symbolic parenting, and unmet needs
-
Providing idealized others and corrective experiences in session
-
Addressing avoidant and disorganized attachment adaptations
-
Using warmth, attunement, and presence as medicine
We also examine how ketamine offers a "felt sense" of connection that many clients have never experienced—making it a powerful ally in healing attachment wounds. Clinical tools and protocols are provided to support meaningful, relational repair.
